swimmingpool (very very nice surrounded with trees) with waitress, location (5 minutes from khao san road, free tuctuc to khao san and apposite of a beautiful temple), room+balcony, television with 2 american moviechannels in room,. Beds were comfortable and soft. Staff incredibly nice and helpful. Freetuk-tuk service to Khao San rd very convenient. The swimmingpool, the breakfast, the friendlyness of the staff, the poolparty.. it is really close to Khao San Road.. Me and my family liked it really much! We came back to the hotel 3 times!!. Iiked it because it was an island of peacefulness in the sea of madness that is Bangkok. Friendly staff, good location, great facilities. only 10 mins from koao san road, i enjoyed my stay here!. Rooms seemed to be allocated on arrival despite booking months in advance - check in was exhausting!. the staff knew little english and were not very friendly...they need to fix their elevators. staff were not as cooperative/friendly as in other hotels.rooms need abit of decorating. Travel desk hardly helpful and hotel staff hardly speak english or understand it.When leaving Bangkok we booked a transfer from the hotel to the airport at the Hotel's traveldesk. However, we ended up being jammed into a minivan with 12 people, with the luggage piled up between us! When the van picked up people who booked somewhere else, they appeared to have payed 130 Baht, whereas we had payed 200 Baht each at Hotel de Moc. My advice, never use this travel service!. Corridors and lifts on upper floors a bit shabby. the hotel is rather old and needs redecoration. Staff was very unfriendly because we were complaining about something.He was screaming that our business is done and we have to leave. It's along story what happened, but he was very rude. The rest of the staffwas friendly, but they didn't understand things.I didn't like the fact that it was advertised as having a gym but infact it is located somewhere else. soft beds.
