It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled. The food was good value by Swiss standards. -

We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast. Location is great!

Everything was just perfect, especially the "non-smoking throughout" policy - there was no smoke smell to put you off. This is a place to spend a vacation you can dream of! We had a spacious room, lovely decorated, with a balcony overlooking Matterhorn. I liked big bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfast was excellent, with variety of cheeses, ham, vegetables, homemade jams, etc (again, served in a lovely decorated room). A short (about 10 min) walk to the railway station. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would never search for a different hotel if I decide to visit Zermatt again.
