The shared bathroom was small; and the fan made it sound like a jet plane!. The bathroom fan was noisy, but from the room I was not bothered (and I was next door to the bathroom). The only room available was a shared bath, but that was okay. The roomwas very small, but comfortable and clean.room little bid small. going to another hotel for breakfast, there was no one at the hotel when we got there and after 10 the place was in darkness and no one was around - not even a card informing me of contacting the sister hotel in an emergency. Sadly the disabled access was not good at all. The paths around thehotel and up to the road were very poorly constructed, which made itboth difficult and dangerous for both walking (even aided) and forwheelchairs. One of the two rooms was rather smoky, a shame consideringthe clean mountain air!. Furniture is a bit old. and we had a smoking room inspite we ordered non-smoking.. After request to change the room, the men of the stuff wasangry and talked like -in all rooms are ashtrays,so how can you knowthat this room is for smokers,and -You allready were in this room for 1hour, why didnt you came earlier to ask etc, but in the end we gotanother room without smell of cigarett. The hotel did not have baby cot. Yes, the pool was not included in the price and they wanted 15 chf per day to use the pool. The ski room was crap, no heaters to dry boots and gloves, Not advertised that the hotel will come and pick you up from the train station from 0800-1800 for free.Cereal bowls very shallow, don't hold much!! Wasn't obvious there was a shuttle pick up at Station. Booked 'Matterhorn View' room but had to stretch around corner to see. Location.The facilities of the hotel were rather dated, especially for the price we were paying I thought. I've also kind of learned that $$ are very expensive in Switzerland too. It was only the very first week of the season and the prices were that high already...I wonder what the top end $$ is...?. The room was extremely small and was very basic. Quite far away from the rail station, old facilities, needa have breakfast at Hotel Metropol the next door.
