  Thaprobane Beach House was the highlight of our trip and the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka. We were incredibly well looked-after and would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers. The staff were fantastic - very helpful and friendly. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Nuwani who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The location was perfect and the hotel itself had the most fantastic atmosphere. It was a home from home.

  A great hotel with a swimming pool in a very green and beautiful location. Smashing staff, all very friendly. Exceptional manager - very chatty and approachable. We were even offered a free room upgrade many times. We refused as we were very happy with a room on the ground floor directly facing the pool. Excellent massage! Plentiful wildlife around the hotel including iguanas and monkeys All in all thoroughly recommended.
