But it's still within walking distance to many things. Central position. I can't think of anything to be honest. I think hotels should offer free, in-room internet use. The breakfast! It was awful - processed cheese, coffee and tea from avending machine and all squashed into a small area so guests werefalling over themselves. We only ate breakfast in the hotel once. The only slight downside is that the hotel is situated on an incredibly narrow one-way street - in reality an alleyway - that is busy with traffic. There is no problem with noise but the "pavement" immediately outside the hotel is only about two feet wide! So care is required when stepping out - or returning from a bar!. Bathroom layout was not too good. Toilet was against the wall and hard to use. Bedroom needed a little refurbishment. noise from basement sometimes when people coming in. Walls paper thin. Noisy street if staying on the street side.be sure to ask for a room that doesn't face the street, where traffic is loud and rush hour commuters tend to lean on their horn. why do they do this? they're ill with anti-social disorders. beep-be-beep-beep-beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! these psychopathic expressions are no fault of the hotel's, but expect rude awakenings if your room isn't removed from the main drag through santa cruz. Dark rather depressing room - glad we only booked one night tho' to be fair we were only in the room for about eight hours and that time was mostly spent sleeping.Seecomments above. ground floor room opening directly on to reception - no privacy whatsoever. It was practically windowless - one tiny window opening on to a dark cramped well. Badly in need of decoration - walls were painted dark green adding to the depressing feel of the whole place. It was way below the standard of friends' hotel 5 minutes walk away that was nearly half the price of this one.
