  I was very much satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I got an outstanding service, the place is very much comfortable. i was very much impressed by the fact that i paid for my internet access voucher for wireless, but when they found out that the server was done, i was kindly refunded. Very good service and keep it up fountains hotel. - Even tho... what people say » ugh the guest review was not very encouraging and I had booked two two double rooms, when we checked the hotel staff upgraded us to a penthouse double room with a kitchen and Hall room without extra payment. I must thank the hotel for this consideration. Overall it was an amazing experience.

  This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect.   This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.
