This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel wa outsatnding value for money. The swimming pool must have the best veiw in town being on the 19th floor! The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.

The shuttle service to the waterfront is a plus and the location of the hotel is also very good. This is a great hotel, all the facilities you need and very convenient for sightseeing and evening entertainment. All the staff were very helpfull with a pleasant attitude. And a rotation of the breakfast items as it can get repetitive over a few days. The swimming pool is small yet this is compensated for the nice views.Sometimes one can hear noise from the rooms that face the exhibitionhall, so best to request a room that faces v and a Waterfront with apreference on the higher floors.The noise. When there is something going on in the exhibition at night, you can hear it through the windows. The air conditioning overlooking Table Mountain needs to be stronger. The swimming pool is small and needs to be stated in your profile for better accuracy. Sometimes the staff did not fully stock the amenities. Both rooms we stayed in were occasionally serviced late in the afternoon and this led the cleaning staff to not always give the best attention.Nothing really to distinguish it from any other Westin around the world. Everything was very good. snotty staff at front desk. the soap had clearly been used, but was changed without delay.I got a room with a shower and realised too late, would have preferred a bath. Poor coffee selection in rooms. In room movies are over priced. theservice was not 5 star. I did not find my reservation on arrival. service could be better. Not a child friendly hotel as the Westin Kids Club is only available during peak season. Childeren under 12 are not allowed in the pool area.We had to request towels two different times. noisy staff. House Keeping. The hotel is not very good for families with children, looks very good for conferences. Maintenance of the excellent facilities needs to be improved e.g blocked drainage of bathrooms and lighting.Not children friendly - eg. pool ... just the pool issue. Slightly expensive. Maybe 10/15% cheaper will be the exact value. There was bno cold water running in the bath. I found the telephone and alarm systems also a little tocomplex. Swimming pool too small, cleaning of bedroom was erratic,.
