Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.

This is my second time there now and stayed in a different apartment the second time around. The warm and homely feel to the apartment. I love the comfy cosyness. The apartments are extremely nice. We were a group of 6 friends that rented the penthouse and our expectation were topped, a superb view and a very nice, clean place. We were also surprised to see that the apartment had anything you would wish for in the kitchen. The washing machine came in handy as well. The hotel is just minutes to walk from the restaurants and bars on Long Street. At the ground floor of the hotel we found a supermarket / sushi restaurant that came in quite handy. All in all,
