The receptionist was amazing. He helped us with all the information. He was very polite and friendly. The hotel provides free drinks (water and coffee machine). The room was large, bed comfortable, good shower. The decoration of the room is also pretty. Perfect location. The hotel is located near the old city. If I come back to Bratislava for sure I would choose this hotel again. Fantastic place! ...the receptionist Simona was a breath of fresh air. She made our stay enjoyable from the moment we walked through the door. Rare in Slovakia. Great position, wonderful nights sleep WITH the window open (quiet) and fantastic price. No disappointments for anybody who stays there!.

The floor in the room was so uneven, i thought it would collapse. The building is a bit old, but they keep it in a good condition. Outside the room it was ugly, everything was old and broken. The elevator was kind of spooky and our neighbors had a room with a glass door which was covered with white paper. The walls are very thin, so it is really loud. No remarks!. No shutters, at least in my room, sometimes it has been difficult falling asleep due to lights and noises coming from outside. Poorly executed and clogged shower - shower water completely flooded the bathroom floor which prevented the free exercise. Some may dislike ants in the bathroom, but it is practically not effecting your stay in the hotel. Nothing. Most of the furniture was in bad condition (lamp, wardrobe, door handle, etc...). It is a shame because they had clearly made an effort on the cosmetic aspect (modern paintings, bed covers, etc)so the state of furniture really let them down. There was a plumbing leak in the bathroom, so water was always leaking on the floor. there was not any chair in room. don't like when there are two single beds put together instead of a large king-size bed. Nothing special on the negative side. Lack of parking, poor sound proofing, constant slamming of doors in the early hours!! No tea or coffee making facilities in room. From the description of how to get there I could not find the hotel I was running up and down at 11 at night missing it and was scared I would have to sleep on the streets as according to the booking I had to have got there by 11. Reception hours erratic. Rooms are being refurbished but no mirror. Only the entrance was dump. Noisy café right outside the window. Credit card terminal was not working unfortunately but it was not a problem. window must be closed during night becasuse of noisy crossroad. I can't say, that it was worse than in other hostel. I would call it "hostel convenience". If you expect smth more search for hotel. P.s. be ready to pay taxes, that are not included in the price, mentioned on letsbookhotel.com.
