Bratislava Hotels

Wow! A little gem of a hotel this one. It is about two blocks away from the edge of the old town (marked by Tesco, what else), however, don't let that stop you. The city is tiny and the old town, charming as it may be, can get claustrophobic if you stay there too. This location is literally 5 minutes away and although through a main quiet street, it is perfectly safe. The residential and office areas away from the river have their own quaint charm in this sleepy central European town. If you wan - Janet

We stayed at Art Hotel William for 1 night, and were given the room at the end of the corridor, so it was particular large in size. The room decor is trendy (the tiles in the bathroom were bright red !!). The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The only hassle is the disability to control the air conditioning in the room. Everytime you need to adjust the room temperature, have to call the reception. Wide selection provide in the breakfast as well. The location of the hotel is close to th - Brian

My husband and I just stayed for a few days at the Skaritz Hotel in Bratislava. We were very, very pleased with everything there. The location was great, right in the old town near the St. Michaels Tower. The room was probably the biggest we have ever had (and we travel a lot!), it was very modern, chic, trendy, cozy and clean and had a new flat screen TV and stereo. Made a golf-trip to Austria (Vienna-area) and decided to stay in Bratislava. We were a group of three persons (three sgl-rooms) and for our purpose the Holiday Inn was perfect match; easy to reach the motorway, good and many-sided breakfast, safe garage for the car and the price appr. 60 euros/night, so was can you expect more. Internet in the rooms worked perfectly, sauna and pool was okay and the tennis -court was palyable. As many have said before, this hotel IS NOT LOCATED in the center of - Paul

The Aston Business Hotel is from a price/quality perspective one of the better business hotels in Bratislava. I have stayed for one night last month and was very pleased with the spacious bed- and bathroom, cleanliness and the amenities (Mini-Bar, LCD TV). Just beware that the bar closes at 23:00 and in the area there are not many bars or any other form of entertainment. You will need a taxi... But overall, a very pleasant experience. Second stay at this hotel. Excellent location only 5 minutes from Old Town and at bottom of Castle hill. Staff are friendly and helpful with quick and efficient check-in. Breakfast is not expensive for a major hotel chain at Euro9.50 although choice is somewhat limited. Rooms are very clean and have what you need for your stay, my only adverse comment this time was occassional noise from next door rooms caused by people who clearly wanted to start the day even earlier than me! I would like to point out the great deal I made when I booked a one night stay in hotel Avance. I found this hotel located just a minute long walk from the main square in the center city. This small size hotel with 29rooms offers you spacious room, amenitites.The bathroom is just located near the entrance to the room and separated from the main sleeping area. I have travelled on business for over thirty years and stayed in some of the best hotels in 30 countries, so I regard myself as a seasoned traveller. On this occasion the trip was with family and comprised a two-night stopover before heading to the Tatra mountains. The hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to old Bratislava, and the the staff are courteous and helpful. This was by far one of the BEST experiences I've ever had at a 5 star hotel, especially when considering the price. The location is perfect, tucked away from too much noise yet close enough to be idyllic for nightlife and the tourist areas of Bratislava with all the best restaurants. My room was enormous and always kept perfectly clean even after an over-excessive amount of garbage or spills. The spa area was fantastic and the staff were always friendly, outgoing, smiling, cordial, and genuine. - Janet

Very convenient location , staff friendly and speak English well, plenty of choice for breakfast, French restaurant was excellent although not very busy - but neither was the lovely restaurant in Hotel Marrols! Rooms at front of hotel overlook the Danube and New Bridge ..but also a very busy, noisy road. Would recommend Bratislava for a 2/3 day break with a boat trip to Vienna (about 75 minutes and 40 euros) - Helen

Quite a new hotel which is situated about a 5 minute walk from the city's old town area and about 15 minute walk from the train station. Staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and its not too expensive. Highly recommended. - Kevin

Very nice hotel with perfect equipped rooms and free internet connection, parking directly in front of the hotel, I have used also their fitness and indoor pool. Sushi restaurant - GREAT value of payed money for such a fantasci food. Really very nice place for leisure and business trips. - Bhavin
