The room is spacious for the price, and includes breakfast and wifi access. I have 1 family room, and 1 double room, both are comfortable for 3 and 2 people, not tight at all. I have my room on the 4th floor right next to the patio. Awesome just to hang with my family. Convenient for people who smokes. Great location, close to the MRT (subway). Super friendly staff. The well maintained Residence is located on the third floor of a country club in town, and comprises of 26 rooms and 2 suites, facing either the Padang (cricket lawn) or the city. The swimming pool which is located at the corner of the basement, which feels like a pond within a cave.
Cleanliness did not disappoint.

traffic noise as our room overlooked the front road...mainly seemed like
background type noise and didn't disturb our sleep. Somewhat odd

We stayed in this hotel because it was only 20S$ more expensive than the backpacker hotel we stayed first.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was big and we even had a window!
The pool is very nice, although the view is nothing special.
Our flight was late at night and we could store our luggage and they even offered us to take a shower before we left for the airport! This is a great service that I have not yet experienced.
