Situated at the first floor of an ancient building, there are very large rooms and enough comfortable, even if the first night we had a problem with warm water but they solved it the following day! Very close to Nevsky Pr., the main road of the town so you can reach every place by walk or by bus just two stops farwayl!!! Breakfast is enough good and has sufficent variety of food. Staff is very gentle but not always well prepared to give you an answer to your question, by the way, they find you .

Location, price, friendly staff. Hotel is located in 3 min. walk to Nevsky ave. and 5 min. walk to Anichkov bridge. Many tourist sights and cafés can be found in the vicinity. Personel is friendly and helpful. E.g. girl helped us to get City guest cards even though the hotel has ran out of them. Room was large and nice looking. The bare brick wall was giving me sense of how old the city. The location is very good. Not far from the metro stations and Nevskiy prospect. The hotel offers good city sightseeings and it is possible to book in the hotel. In this hotel is small kitchen when u can eat or drink tea or coffee every time. location. Location is great - the middle of the center. Location. Building is externally very nice, but entrance door, lift and stairs are very dirty and scarefull!! No light in the entrance hall, hosting building shoul be restored!!. Breakfasts were quite poor, but nevertheless tasty. Another thing that got me upset was the absence of the electricity during one night, but it was switched on again as soon as we called the reception desk. No parking, they expect you to do the washing up after breakfast, that was really surprising!. Air conditioner was too noisy so we have had to switch it off at night. Shower box was functioning but needed some repairmen's. I'd say these two points and poor breakfast meals variety drags the hotel down from 3 stars to 2 stars. But that's just my impressions. The comfort of hotel is quit poor. Rooms are renovated in the old building and are situate on the 5th floor. Other 4 floors are not renovated and if to entrance the outlook will shock. This hotel is more close to hostel typ accommodation. Also the room price and quality is not in balance. In the room number 3 air condition didn't work and from the ceilling dripping water so noisy. staff. The shower that was not always hot... Wi-Fi is slow and not reliable (switching off in the moment of booking the ticket)/ The reception staff is putting bureaucracy responsibilities on the customers (filling in some forms) and on the question "should I fill this form now" - the answer was "When do you think this form should be filled?!" Conclusion: Great location, bad staff, unreliable wi-fi. Rooms, personals, breakfast.
