  This is a great hotel to stay at the city center, within a nice surrounding and 10 min. walking distance to metro station, making it easy to reach every part of the city quickly. Our room was spacious, clean, and every detail was addressed just like you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The room - we had a junior suite - was comfortable and spacious. The view over the river was nice. The staff were excellent. I booked at 60% off the rack rate so it was good value too.

  Location amazing. The best in Moscow. Walking distance to everywhere. Metro just outside the door. Hotel is very historical. There is a photo gallery on the 2nd floor by the breakfast room where you see people who have stayed there and is it unbelievable. Rooms are large and with good taste period furnishings. Concierge fantasti - Location is hands down amazing. From 3 metro stops within walking distance to your ability to cross the street for a midnight stroll of Kremlin. We had a regular ( no view) room and it was enormous, clean with a very comfortable bed. Chocolates and next day weather reports on the pillow were a nice touch.

With respect to location it is one of the best hotels you can find in Moscow, being a five minute walk from the Kremlin entrance. When I came back in the evening I was guided to my room and was very happy to see that it was a very clean and quiet room with a go - Very comfortable, nice-looking, clean room and bathroom,very friendly staff, central location is perfect for sightseeng, 4 min walking to Red Square. Breakfast is not rich but quite enough. We paid 5500 RUB per night, for this price in Moscow it is a fantastic place to stay

  What a treasure! Much bigger and much cozier than an avarage hotel room plus you get a kitchen! Could not be happier with the vacation rental. As Mr. Balmont (a descendant of an old family of Russian aristocrats) puts it: "I strive for excellence, for my name is on the line." Constantin -the owner - was very polite and his hospitality made us feel very comfortable. The entrance is bad but don't give any attention at it. You ll enjoy every minute in that renovated flat. Very warm and clean. Close to smalenskaya metro station(light blue) and Arbat street. Only three stops to the center and Kremlin. I recommend it.
