Guests should first understand that this is a true guest house, not a
hotel. Our host, Mrs. Mlost, was very gracious. She waited for our late
arrival, recommended a perfect restaurant for dinner, called a cab for
us, and then was back the next morning to prepare our breakfast. Then
she made a special accommodation to hold our luggage while we visited
Auschwitz museum and historical site. The room was completely
comfortable. The location is good, in that it is a residential
neighborhood, not a t. all reviews »
Hard-working Ursula is very helpful and genuine, payment in Euros
accepted, thoughtful attention to decoration/detail, new rooms and
bathroom, balcony overlooking quiet neighborhood, proximity to bus for
Auschwitz (10 min. On foot)***be sure to enter Auschwitz by 10:00 (free)
so you´re not obliged to be herded around the solemn camp in a group
(plus you must pay after 10am). I would definitely return to this
lovely, peaceful accommodation.

what can I say, it is the perfect short stay hotel ever! Great service! Absolutely loved it. The three of us, one single room and one double room, had a wonderful stay and some hotels could take example for they dont provide the level of service this place did!.
The lady is really friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, had a fan (which was very nice as it was 37C), and was situated somewhere quiet. The bed was comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious, with homemade omelette on toast!
The location is good. The central square is a five minute walk away, Auschwitz I and II are close by as well.
Great Value for a fine room and use of the communal kitchen. Make sure you have a GPS to find this place. The manger is a very nice lady and patient. She wanted to communicate in Polish and limited English. There are many inexpensive places to shop such as Aldis, Kaufhaus and Tesco very close to the Hotel. GPS is absolutely necessary.
The staff were lovely. My partner had asked for flowers and wine in our room and they were lovely. The owner was extremely friendly, English was patchy but that was ok. Facilities were great, extremely clean and very new looking. Trendy styling. Breakfast was amazing. Shower was very very good. Cheap place to stay and eat.
The breakfasts were delicious and the owner was lovely, driving us places we needed to go and giving us all the information we needed about public transport, the best places to eat and shop, and where to get value for money.
She was very friendly and made our stay a pleasure.
Ursula was fantastic! Checked us in at 5:30 am and offered to make breakfast!
Called us a cab to Auschwitz and was a wonderful hostess.
I travelled here from the US with my mom (i am 32, mom 59) and we would recommend it to anyone!
Peaceful!.
Friendly host. Good breakfast for 15 PLN (~$5) - meats, cheeses, fresh cooked eggs, tea, bread. Walkable to town square for restaurants. Easy drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Clean, quiet, free parking. Overall good value.
very nice lady owner (anna?0 i am terrible with names. very very nice stay, spotless, friendly, helpful.
location ws a little out, but taxi to Auschwitz was about 4 ponds! so no harm done..
A whopping 10!!! The villa was 4+ stars all the way including the help we got from the manager and her local mechanic friend. Hotel bookings just don't come out any better than this.
Easy access to Auschwitz and Birkenau. The walls were a bit thin though luckily I don't think anyone else was staying there otherwise our baby may have woken them up.
Staff was very friendly. She offered great dinner recommendation. We had an infant and she was very sweet and understanding. Comfortable and clean room. Great value.
The owner was prepared to make breakfast as and when required. She even collected us from the station when we said we may be late to check In coz no cabs about.
Ursula runs a lovely apartment in a residential area. It has all
the basic necessities and a nice European breakfast. You cannot
beat the price.
Room and bathroom was spotless, and felt new. Owner is a really nice lady And knowledgeable about how to get around town and to Krakow.
A modern and comfortable Hotel offering outstanding value for money. Very Very pleasant owner who could not do enough for us.
The Location is very nice, the staff is very kindly and the brakfast is good. The Hotel is new and the rooms are very clean.
very friendly and helpful staff
tasty continental breakfast- amazing scrambled eggs!!!
location- close to the city centre.
The owner went way out of her way to accomodate my every need. The breakfast was exceptional. I can't wait to go back!.
I can only recommend this hotel. Our room was newly furnished and clean, the landlady was very nice and friendly.
The houselady was really friendly. The room clean and funtion. The hotel
is located at a quiet part of the town.
Good location, very friendly onwer, delicious breakfast, modern and clean accomodation. Super!!!!.
Good location for visiting Auschwitz. Good size room, excellent TV plus use of a shared kitchen.
The landlord lady was very friendly.
Access to a big kitchen.
Parking lot.
Free wi-fi.
Quiet location but still near old city center and Auschwitz. Very friendly owner.
clean, breakfast was good. close to Auschwitz and Krakow. would stay again.
Everything was excellent couldnt have been treated better 10 out of 10.
The host lady is very thoughtful in taking care of solo traveller !.
Ursula was great, made us a great breakfast, a wonderful hostess.
Great bang for the buck. Very clean and great friendly owner.
Very friendly and helpful staff and nice room.
The commun kitchen and the very nice staff !.
Everything was present.
it was excellent.
friendly stuff.
No coffee maker available to guests who didn´t opt for breakfast, thus
rendering the communal kitchen useless to us. Despite having a complex
cable system, there aren´t any T.V. channels in English (usually not
needed but the town is unexciting after dark).
curtains didnt close.
The shower was too hot to shower comfortably, but it wasn't too big of a problem.
Difficult to communicate with the manager. She speaks Polish and very little English and no German.Make sure you have GPS to find anything in town or Auschwitz.
Location in Oswiecim was a little out of the way. There is not much there, a few restaurants and we couldn't find any bars so ended up in a hotel bar, which was nice.
Nothing!.
Very hard beds. Walls a little thin if you have loud neighbors.
Absolutely flawless!.
Could not fnd any news or uk tv channels.
Lighting in room was a bit dim.
The fact that I could not stay longer.
nothing I could recall....
On the windows should be mosquito net.
Beds a bit hard.
We could not set the water temperature at the shower, it was very hot.
Plenty of steps to climb if your unlucky with your room number.
It is on the budget end for facilities, but it was a better value than a Red Roof Inn in the states.
It would be nice to be able to cook in the kitchen.
The very personal treatment can be irritating for people whilling to be left alone.
Difficult yo find the hotel during night arrival (no lighting sign!).
