  We found the hotel to be clean, quiet and efficient. Giels the owner could not be more helpful and takes great pride in his hotel . Once in a while you find a gem and this is it. Although not cheap it is worth it. Would I use again? - yes. In fact I have already booked it for next year. - A very nice host who is very helpful with everything.   We stayed in a studio which had a kitchenette and lounge area and we loved it. It was much more spacious than we expected. Thought it was very good value for money. The bedroom was separated from the kitchen/diner/living room which was nice. The kitchenette was surprisingly well equipped. We cooked all our meals there. We also noticed a couple of cafes in Ell though we didn't try them - Very friendly and accommodating staff, lovely accommodation and good value for money.
