  A beautiful luxurious family run self catering apartment right next to a canal.The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were travelling on a motorbike so did not make use of the well equipped kitchen area of the apartment. Sneek is a lovely town and though we walked there in the evening for something to eat, it may be too f... what people say » ar to walk for some.The owners do provide meals at the weekend but we arrived on Tuesday so had to go out for our evening meal. - The rooms are very large and very clean, modern facility converted from old horse stables. Very large bathroom. Excellent staff - family business. Associated with small boat marina. A great base for touring the region each day.
