This hotel has only one apartment space in ground floor in a detached house. The space encompasses two clean bed rooms, a superb living room,a full spec convenient kitchen, a modern shower room and a cozy garden with an arbor facing a canal behind the house. Friendly owner Jacco and Maria take care and help guests like as family. A small supermarket specializing in organic groceries and sundries is located three doors up and open from 8:30 to 20:00. Free WiFi and free Nespresso coffee are avail.
all reviews » Our staying was like a fairy tale in the centre of Amsterdam. Beautiful and large apartment, comfortable and romantic. Wonderful garden abut on a water of the canal. Hospitable, kind and helpful people. The children also liked the place very much and felt very good there. Perfect location! It was great to stay in such cosy place while visiting Amsterdam, instead in the big hotels. The location is perfect. Apartment is extremely Luxurious. Many trams pass by, and you can also go everywhere by foot as well. Museums just locate five minutes walk. The landlord is very nice, and he give us a lift back to the airport, also he has a boat can take the guests around the canal. You can sit in the garden to have a afternoon tea, and watch the boat s pass by. The Accomadation is beautiful, right on the canal and in an excellent location. Maria and Jacco were very kind they went over and above to make sure our stay was exceptional, even taking us on boat tour for lunch. A highlight of our trip. I highly recomened Canal House de Schans. Definatley hope to return! 10/10. Our hosts were fantastic. Welcoming and helpful. The apartment was beautifully appointed with tasteful quality furnishings. Well laid out for 2 couples. Fresh flowers,fruit and wine were left for us. The flat was homely and the experience was very memorable. The apartment is luxurios, the location is perfect for visiting the city just walking or riding a bike. An apartment like this predisposes you to make the city look more beautiful. This has been one of the most beautiful and interesting places i have stayed! The apartment is so comfy and beautiful, and the terrace..! Wins the 5 star hotels, not kidding:)!. A beautiful place exit to a garden by the canal central location. Everything clean and nice. You must prepare and bring soap, shampoo and toothbrush in shower room. I recommend foreign guests to ask Jacco and Maria in detail how to use dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven. These systems are something different from Japanese machines. The second bed room should have roof curtain, and instead of two single quits should have double quits. Not applicable. It was fantastic. hard to find the location ( its a small brown door with the number 155 on it). Nothing.
