    We just got back from a week long trip in Morocco and stayed at Dar Andamaure for three nights. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there. The owners Marie and Philippe are just amazing people. They really make you feel at home at their riad and offer great suggestions on whatever questions you have.     We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors, and all the lovely staff. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us. The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra.     I arrived in Marrakech from Belgium suffering the affects of food poisoning and was immediately attended to by Jacques who made me as comfortable as possible.     Absolutely delightful staff, just walking through the doors of the Riad it felt like coming home. There was a wonderful family feeling about the place and a great relationship between the staff and we were treated more as family than as simply paying guests. Olivier, Mustafa, Abdu, Ai - Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

    The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could want, the food was some of the best we had all holiday and the positioning of the hotel in the heart of the old city was brilliant. Highly recommended.

    There are literally hundreds and hundreds of riads in the medina of Marrakech so I think we really landed on our feet with this one! Two females in their thirties travelling to morocco for a little sunshine and adventure, we stayed here before and after a week in Essaouira. Picked up from the airport at midnight and transported to this heavenly little home was pe - The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with different meals everyday which was served by the staff. We stayed at the Mata Hari room which was a decent size for two people. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The riad is tastefully decorated. The location is decent - about 10-15 mins walk from the main J'ma El Fna. It felt like a safe location and we walked back to the riad around 10.30 every night with no problems.

    Annabel and Pierre have a lovely spot at Casa Lalla. Annabel was wonderful in answering all of our questions beforehand. The location within the medina next to the Royal Palace is great and although the walk to Jemaa el fna takes 10-15 minutes it means you see more of the side streets plus the palace walls with nesting storks.
