As everyone has mentioned before - Marie and Philippe and their staff
make you very welcome. I think everyone is so relieved to find such a
beautiful quiet place, after going down the bustling main street, packed
with people, scooters, carts and horses and determined shopkeepers
selling interesting but mostly shoddy wear... Through the twisting
alleys - and knocking on the door to be greeted by a smiling, welcoming
face; you do feel that you have arrived home and are calm and relaxed.

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

Este Riad foi o ponto máximo da nossa viagem. A afabilidade com que nos receberam Jacques o gerente e Raschida seu braço direito são inigualáveis. Foi como estar em casa. Conforto, limpeza e organização, todos os espaços decorados e pensados para agradar fazem deste Riad um oásis dentro da cidade. Recomendo vivamente. -

Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could want, the food was some of the best we had all holiday and the positioning of the hotel in the heart of the old city was brilliant. Highly recommended.

The 6 of us had such a great time. Simo and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging a traditional Morroccan meal for our late arrival, advising us on sights and restaurants and organising a day at a beautiful private pool when the temperature hit 40! The location within the medina next to the Royal Palace is great and although the walk to Jemaa el fna takes 10-15 minutes it means you see more of the side streets plus the palace walls with nesting storks. The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with different meals everyday which was served by the staff. We stayed at the Mata Hari room which was a decent size for two people. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The riad is tastefully decorated. The location is decent - about 10-15 mins walk from the main J'ma El Fna. It felt like a safe location and we walked back to the riad around 10.30 every night with no problems.

An amazing Riad!!
The rooms are all beautiful. The staff is very friendly and Frederique (the owner) is a wonderful host who even went to pick us up at the Jemma el Fna Square because we got lost the first day.
Additionally, as it was low season, she gave us a free extra room to be more comfortable.
Just wonderful, I hope to go back someday ... I really recommend it 100%
