  We read excellent feedback and chose this riad and we were not disappointed! We are a family of 4 including 2 grown-up children. We booked a family room for 4 and it was ENORMOUS! (Two single beds were separated by curtains.) The main bed was a wrought iron four-poster bed with nice laces around. There were no windows to the outside but we d... what people say » id not miss much and I think that kept the room cool. The room was nicely air-conditioned and after HOT outings, it was an oasis! There was no TV in - It was one of our best trips ever thanks to this Riad and Its staff. The place and the rooms are beautiful.the welcome is very warm and The staff is extremely Nice and caring. The location is ideal, a few minutes away from jemaa El fna from Bahia palace and from tombeaux saadiens. I Would definitely recommend this Riad. Nothing feels Like waking up in one of Its rooms to the sound of little birds and having breakfast on top of Its breathtaking terrasse. Enjoy

  Liliane and Patrick were wonderful hosts, made sure we were safe, maps and advice, we had their telephone number in case we were got lost which we did on several occasions! Patrick would take us to restaurant's and offered to collect us if necessary. The Riad is beautifully designed with lots detail and attention. The place is very nicely decorated with a lot attention to detail. We stayed in two different rooms where each has its own unique style and atmosphere. Especially the room on the roof terrace was very cozy and comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and helped us a lot when organizing smaller trips in Marrakech or outside the city. The Ryad was in typically relaxed Morrocan style with beautiful features in the public area and courtyard facing bedrooms. A nice roof terrace too. Well located in the old Medina although the entrance route via the old dark souk streets might be a little intimidating for some, although the streets were busy and appeared safe.

  We were treated so well from the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Noureddine and his wonderful family and once settled were served the most delicious mint tea. They were all so helpful! As this was our first time in Marrakech we were unsure of where to go. There are many reviews about it being a little way out - but we thought this was great. It is not far and the tranquil surro - This place will struck you from the first minute. The family-like reception and the warm greetings overwhelms you. Abu Edriss, his wife Nadia, and Boshra, their daughter spared no efforts to make my wife, my daughter and I feel really at home. In addition, the food they provide specially the breakfast was just so good while enjoying the beautiful surrounding. If not for a tight schedule that we had, we would of stay for another night or nights there. Thanks for family and their staff. No words

The service was great, food was good and the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. I travel around the world and this is without question the best trip i have had for a long time.   I am happy to join the ever growing band of glowing reviews for Riad Alwachma, given that my decision to stay there recently was based on its excellent reviews. This is definitely a place where you get value for money. Our conclusion is that Riad Alwachma probably offers one of the best value for money in Marrakech and it has become our home whenever we visit the city.   With so many Riads to choose from our end choice was based on other reviews. We chose to be met at the airport as arranged by Zak the manager of the Riad, this cost 15€ and we would advise others to do the same as the Tahar Oasis would be very difficult to find. On arriving close to the hotel we were taken on foot to the Riad through a few streets... what people say » and into what can only be described as an alleyway. Initially we were concerned as the alleyway was dark and our natural instincts were one of danger - The staff at the hotel were fantastic as was the decor, comfort and the best breakfast I had while in Morocco. I like the riad set up as it is very authentic and the roof terrace at the Tahar was really lovely. Location too, right on the edge of the shopping district was just right, but being off the main streets very quite and relaxing too. It is hard to find alone, but the manager is happy to meet you if you need and assist with directions and luggage.

They really improved our stay in Morocco and meant we didn't - An amazing Riad!! The rooms are all beautiful. The staff is very friendly and Frederique (the owner) is a wonderful host who even went to pick us up at the Jemma el Fna Square because we got lost the first day. Additionally, as it was low season, she gave us a free extra room to be more comfortable. Just wonderful, I hope to go back someday ... I really recommend it 100%

They have a transfer service to pick you on airport coast 20 €, its better to ask for the transfer because the place it's a little bit dificult to find, and if you go by taxi, will be 15 € and they will leave you in the square and you'll not find the place without pay a lot of money for the local people.
