We had a delightful 2 day stay at Riad Diana at the beginning of a 10 day holiday in Morocco. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours (because of snow in England!) so we arrived fairly late at night. The Riad has a very good location: easy to find, just a minute walk from a cosy shopping street and just a few minutes walk to the jemaa el fna square. So close to the hustle and bustle but in the Riad you don't hear anything from outside! I found this Ryad amazing. After reading the reviews I was lucky that I got my room in the main building 2nd floor. So the pool was on a level up above.
Room:The room was very very well decorated in proper Moroccan style with wooden furniture. The bed was very comfortable with clean linens. It had an amazing interior with wall paintings and sword decorations and stuff. A beautiful window with colored glasses. I was quite happy with my room as it was clean, decorated and had everything function

singles but not, I would think, for families, and not ideal if you at
all disabled because there are steep steps to the upper floors and roof

Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.
