  Lovely, lovely Riad. William and Khansa were very welcoming . Arrived in the evening so we were very pleased with being picked up at the airport and guided to the Riad through the crazy evening traffic! We were given a delicious meal in front of an open fire, much needed. The Riad is in a very good place, with easy directions to the Sqaure ( once ... what people say » you've done it once ) takes about 10 mins. The gorgeous roof terrace is just what you need to rest after a morning in the Souks or square. Comfortable - A very pleasant place to stay in Marrakesh. Whilst in the middle of the busy Medina, it is totally quiet and relaxing which is great after a day of exploring the Medina, sightseeing and shopping in the nearby huge souk. We were received very well and Khansa took exceptionally well care of us, on a couple of occasions way above expectations! Breakfast was excellent and different each day. We also received good advice on restaurants, shopping and things to see.

When we were away for trips, they are flexible and prepared breakfast earlier just for us. The service was great, food was good and the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Dar Massi is tastefully decorated with beautiful attention to detail.   The front desk staff were wonderful, especially Sara. She was always smiling and courteous, and very helpful. The hotel has a beautiful setting and the rooms are a wonderful size. We were upgraded when we arrived, and it was a fabulous surprise. Their tour guides that they use were great as well. Very knowledgeable and willing to help us negotiate... what people say » prices. Hassan was our driver/guide to Essaouira, and Hamid was our tour guide for the market area. - Excellent hotel, excellent staff: everything exceeded my expectations. I told the hotel the stay was a 60º birthday gift for my husband, and they invited us for a special cake, and they gave us a superior suite than the one I reserved. The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.
