The superior room has a fridge, 2 bottles of free water every day, sink, microwave (not in the standard room) and kettle. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower, loads of hot water, nice free toiletries and a heated toilet seat (they seem to have them everywhere in Japan). Free wifi or wired internet with a provided network cable (slightly faster) and really cheap local calls from the rooms. They also gave us an umbrella when it poured one day. The hotel is quite central and only 4 stops .
all reviews » I just loved this hotel. It was the first hotel we stayed in Japan. The room was small but lovely! Our bathroom was great and everything was very clean- as everything is in Japan. They even provided facial treatment products for the ladies. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they printed maps for us and helped us with everything. The location is perfect, the underground is only a few meters away. Akasaka area is a great place to stay, it has everything, restaurants, shops, convenience sto. Quit district of Akasaka is perfect for Tokyo sightseeing. 1 min from Green Line "Akasaka" metro line, and 10-30 minutes to all main interesting places in Tokyo, Roppongi Hills is 15 minutes by walking via nice park. Absolutely clear inside, nice interior, perfect value for its price, FamilyMart (food) in 30 metres, SevenEleven with ATM where possible to make withdrawal from international Visa (but not Mastercard!), few nice Japanese "fast-food" restautants around. Sukiya is just behind FamilyM. Nice and clean hotel in a relatively safe environment. Has good toiletries, as well as 2 bottles of water which are replenished every day. Wifi connection for the room which we were was very good. The staff spoke simple English, sufficient to answer simple queries. It is a walking distance to Roppongi, but do take note that it is quite a distance away. Food places are dotted all around with decent priced meals for lunch. There is even a macdonalds within walking distance!. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wired internet was fast and reliable. Microwave, electric kettle, and extra sink (in addition to the bathroom sink) were very convenient. The Japanese future-toilet was very entertaining. Location was very convenient - right across the street from a (Chiyoda line) subway station. Also quick walking distance from a 7-11, Lawsons, 24-hour grocery, McDonalds (Cafe) and Burger King (along with a bunch of non-chain restaurants). Awseome boutique hotel, super clean design rooms, even small (japanese style), the rooms very tastefully decorated and featuring all necessary amenities. The nearest metro station exit was just across the street. It took only about 5-10 min walk to the station for other lines to reach Ginza and Tokyo station. Hotel is accessible via Chiyoda Line exit 6 (not jr line) so you have to get t money if you only have jr pass but location is really convenient as it is close to Harajuku, Shibuya etc. Travel is not a problem if you can work out the subway :). The TV had no English speaking channels at all. Due to the fact that this is a generally a business area, the surroundings are relatively quiet at night. As such,there's a tendency for the area to be a bit noisy late at night from the post-dinner/drinks crowd. Room ("Superior Double") was crazy-small...the bed was touching three walls, so I had to climb over my wife to get in and out of bed. Floor space was very limited - we ended up putting our suitcases on top of the small wardrobe when we weren't using them. Did not spend much time in the room but we did not even have enough space for our bags. No windows could be opened and waste of energy: heated toilet seat and bathroom mirror which couldn't be turned off.
