  Friendly English-speaking owner who picked us at the train station and sent us back on our departure day. He even sent us to the theme park which was a short drive away. Good location - near lakes, attractions , supermarket, restaurants & convenient stores.

  The staff were very friendly and satisfied all our wishes. The dinner and breakfast were incredible value for the price. The baths are nice and you might be lucky enough to spot Mt Fuji through the clouded windows. We stayed at a Japanese style room, a bit basic but quite ok for the price. It has a bit of a backpacker feel to it, which might or mi... what people say » ght not be what you are after. You can rent bicycles which I would certainly encourage you to do if you stay longer, as going around the lake with the - Great getaway location from the southern part which is crowded and touristy. The owner provides free shuttle to and from kawaguchi-ko station so distant location is not an issue at all. The owner is friendly and is keen to help with any questions should they arise. He's very adept in speaking english too and that helps alot. Each guest (or party of guests) get assigned 45 minutes of private hot bath at no additional cost. The lounge has fireplace that is lit up in the night. Wonderful atmospher
