The room was exceptional in this hotel. The Verona arena was just a 10 minute walk from the hotel and coming home from the opera after midnight was a very safe walk without any fears for safety. I would highly recommend this hotel to any adult traveller. Friendly greeting on arrival, and help during stay. Pleasant and immaculately clean room and bathroom. Proximity to station and old town.

This hotel doesn't have an elevator, making it a little bit difficultfor a single person to move 2 big luggage upstairs. I did this bymyself, since when I arrive, close to 11:40pm, the doorman could notassist me. The hotel doesn't have internet access, and although Iknew about this, I wasn't aware that they didn't have phone on therooms either.I booked the rooms because they advertised air conditioning. The a/c was not working in our room. We were told that it would be sorted out the following day, it wasn`t, it was very hot at night so we had open the window which isn`t a problem except it let in insects which bite. We complained when we we were paying the bill only to be told that the control for the a/c was in reception. Yes, even though my room was non smoking, I am not sure where it camefrom but I could smell it quite strongly to the point of making mynose block.
