a lovely gentleman from reception desk greeted us when we arrived by coming downstairs and carrying our heavy luggage upstairs to second floor, then gave us a great overview of Venice and helped with directions and how to get around. Also loved our little room overlooking the street, our washroom was beautiful with lovely fresh white towels and I loved the view overlooking the little alley. all reviews » I like the location - it's less than 10 mins walk from the train station. It's also surrounded by good restaurants (incidentally, a very good one just next to the hotel). The room was clean and had an attached bathroom. The aircon was working nicely - no weird smells. If you have a huge luggage, I hope you have strong arms because the narrow stairwell requires you to hold the luggage in front or behind you. (one flight up to the reception, and another flight of steps up to the room if you are o. Hotel is really cosy and clean. At the morning we heard bells of the churches ringing. Door to door in the same building there is nice pizzeria. The breakfast is small: 2 piece of bread + crouisane + orange juice + cup of tea or cofee in the cute cafe on the street (you will get a coupone) but its not a problem, and good omlet with ham will cost you 8 euro. Good wifi. The staff were friendly and replied fast to email enquiries. The room was very clean, and it was cleaned daily. Clean towels were provided. The breakfast was very nice and the hotel had flexible check-in and check-out times. I would recommend this hotel, it is close to the train station and to water bus stops. We stayed for only 2 nights here. The staff (especially Andrea) were wonderful, helping us plan our trip before we even got there. The room was exactly as described and if anything was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. Perfect location to get wander into all districts of Venice and stones throw from bus and train stations. You could hear what is happing in corridor and vice versa. It is the worset hotel to live , very small hotel , stairs was tiny just one adult can use it , treatment of employees is very bad , the use of water in hotel is limited , breakfast does not even fit for children is very poor , noisy all night we can not sleep because there is a restaurant in down and advice to anyone who want to live in venice forget this hotel .
