5 minute walk from bus / airport coach / cruise ship shuttle bus station / vaporette terminus and Grand Canal. 2 minute walk to nearest tourist shoping area. Light airy room in quiet residential area. Ample continental breakfast, cereals, bread, selection of meats and preserves, tea and coffee. Lovely little hotel in a quiet area of the city. The room was spacious and very clean and the breakfast was superb - meats and cheese, croissants, danish pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Can't fault this hotel at all.

Everything about the Ca' San Rocco was just wonderful. It was also very easy to find after alighting the bus from the airport. Would strongly recommend the hotel. it was a quarter of an hour from bus station. we stayed at a flatlet in same building. it was clean and very quiet. we were still offered breakfast and had our flatlet cleaned every day.The accomodation is in a very accessible position no matter how you arrive in Venice. The room was spacious and always very clean. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. Excellent location for touring Venice and transporting luggage to bus/train station. There is an outside area which has trees and greenery which was delightfull in the morning for breakfast. Or you could sit inside if the weather was poor. The hotel is conveniently close to the Piazza Roma and within walkingdistance of the Rialto and St. Marks. The staff waited up for us eventhough we had a delayed flight and did not arrive until 1:00 A.M. Security was very good.Nice quiet location yet only 15 minute walk to San Marco. The room was very good.B and B, not a hotel - reflected in price. Reception 7am to 9 pm. Secure access. No complaints whatsoever. Mosquitoes were a bit of a problem since there were no screens and the air-conditioning was shut off in October. We had beautifully warm weather for mid October but the rooms were warm at night.Not a complaint just a comment. This is a BnB and so does not offer the same facilities as a hotel, e.g. the terrace used for breakfast is not available at other times and it would have been a lovely place to sit for a couple of hours in the heat of the afternoon or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Minor inconvenience was the AC was turned off. Our understanding is this is a seasonal occurence but it was warmer than than usual. This meant sleeping in a room that was too hot or opening the window but getting bitten by flies. The breakfast was adequate and could use some upgrading. there was nothing I didn't like, it's just a bit difficult to find it, especially if you're for the first time in Venice; a map with the location would help and a reference to the San Rocco school nearby; I found the venue after realizing I should rely on the numbers dispalyed in the street (but there are no named streets actually).Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms!. Only one small comment, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in your room, other than that, excellent. No elevator, but staff willing to assist with luggage. noise. I could not connect to the internet, maybe my fault tough. Just the shortage of getting something to drink except the expensive mini bar and I only mean soft drinks including tea and coffee.The ceiling insulation was a little lacking and you were always aware of the people walking around in the room above. Lack of internet service. I believe this is being rectified.yes, did not have internet like was advertised-- very frustrating. Maybe the breakfast - it may be varied a little, or maybe serve some different dishes for different days of the week? (that's just an idea) And a bed was a combination of 2 single (but we understand that the hotel management simply couldn't bring the big one to the 2nd floor because the stairs are a bit narrow for such big things :-) ) And a little bit expensive (but that's Venezia).I thought the staff could have been a little more friendly. They responded to requests for information but did not volunteer anything. Staff were not over friendly or helpful. quite difficult to find a place without map, not much friendly staff. There was a real smell problem in the corridor. It is not a 4* type hotel but location was nice and it was clean. Breakfast was really bad.
