Staff was supersuper friendly, thanks to Armando and Jerry, the guys at the front-desk. They were helping us out with getting familiar with the transportation, sightseeing recommendations, and even with places to go shopping. Very easy to get to the center of Rome; 10 minutes by bus (105) to get to Termini, and the bus stop is right out in front of the hotel. You get to choose between a sweet continental or salty breakfast at the time of your choice, between 8-10 am. Room was cleaned everyday .
all reviews » First I want to mention the Stuff, that were always nice, friendly, willing to answer questions about where to visit, how to reach a certain point, and a 24h service. Secondly the B&B showers and facilities were well cleaned every day. The breakfast was fair and served to the room at the requested hour. For last and maybe most important the B&B was enough close to the historical center, by bus, Metro ( 5 min walk) ,or by foot ( 15 min walk ). the staff makes the difference and very true in case of B&B..... they just make your trip so much more comfortable...... the location is perfect and the bus stop outside the hotel ensures connectivity to the main train terminus (less than 7 mins bus ride to Termini) and bus 81 takes you across the main sites - Colosseum, Vatican, pizaa de novena among others...... The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was quite nice (you had two versions of a breakfast that you could choose from).Well connected to main city attractions (you can get to Colloseum, Vatican and other attractions directly by bus). The linens were changed every day, and they were super clean like new. In general, was a very enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff helping you with everything - you just need to ask. The room was big (4 pers.) and clean with a bathroom. Localization - 50 m to a bus stop and buses going to Termini and Vatican through Colosseum and other major attractions. B&B Pigneto is 3 bus stops from a metro. Good WiFi. Best value for money for me. The staff were really friendly and helpful and all we encountered spoke English which was great as none of us spoke two words of Italian. They were excellent when we asked for directions and the best way to get to places. It was easy to find once off the very crowded 10 bus and in a reasonably quiet area. Leonardo (man at front) was fantastic and very friendly! Location was great if you wanted to go out to eat/out drinking (lots of bars/restaurants directly across from the hotel); good security--must leave key at front if you leave and buzz to get back in and get your key back; good value. We were very pleased by nice stuff in the hotel. Also they stayed all the night and kept an eye on the hotel. The hotel is on the bus line 81 which goes directly to the Colloseum/Forum Romanum/Bocca della Veritá. Breakfast was little, yet very nice (especially bloody orange juice). The staff were so kind. The room was also so clean. There is a bus station in front of the entrance of B&B which is perfect. The bus number 105 for going to the train station and 81 for visiting many attractive places in Rome. Nice room, wide window with lots of morning sunshine and breakfast included. It was worth the money. Also easy to find and took only one bus ride from Termini. On the way to the B&B, there was a very famous Gelateria!. Via pigneto is a great steet for morning markets, lunch and dinner in the evening. The staff was friendly. No need for subway - there is a bus #81 that goes from to hotel around colosseum and all the way to vatican city. The hotel is pretty close to Termini train/metro station, you can take the bus 105 as it takes only 10 mins to get there. Hotel personnel is nice. Rooms and shared bathrooms are clean. The fact that the bathroom was shared(2 bathroom for 3 rooms). the breakfast can be upgraded and given earlier during the day say 7am...... (this is a mute point in the large scheme of things). Nothing really. There was no aircondition and the noise from the street is quite big. I would not recomend it in the summer season but wery good after the summer holidays. You need to find the entrance to the hotel because there is only a small sign on the building that there is something like Pigneto and a tel. number - For other visitors it is a building parallel to the Piazza del Pigneto on the same side of the main street (navigation helps ;) ). The only complaint I have about the room was the fact that it didn't have a mirror. Our room had a shared bathroom with 3 other rooms so in the morning when everyone was in and out of the bathroom it was a long wait for the use of the mirror. Breakfast could have been more (it was only a cold espresso, a croissant, and a few biscotti-type cookie things); the location is right across from a park that has a lot of homeless people--would not feel safe if I was alone at night time.; we walk fast yet still it took 35 minutes to reach the Colosseum. Altough very nice hotel, it is located in not so nice quarter of the town. We expected to have a better breakfast. The bathroom was often out of order, so need to fix them... The nois from the street was incredible - but I would say it's pretty comon in italy. The blankets were kinda old - feathers were sticking out of them. The Hotel is not easy to find, as there's no signs, but if you follow the address it's hard to miss it. The LCD TV's are nice but pointless in my opinion, who travels to Rome and watch TV? they could use the money for different things. Breakfast (quite poor, only coffee, juice and sandwich) can be served only from 8.00 and it was always late. Once we half an hour or more.. Can be difficult to find as no signs. it's quite hard to find this hotel. the transportation which go to the attraction site is tram, however, during peak hour, it is impossible to get into the tram as the tram is so crowded. That it didn't have air con. Fake pictures on letsbookhotel.com. Very bad breakfast. Sloppy reception organisation. Location (difficult to reach the rail station on the bus -especially with luggage). Small group of drunks seem to make a home in the area outside the hotel. Breakfast is not a winner! Recommend going out to the cafeteria which is excellent. 1 euro a coffee!. There was a lot of noise on the streets in front of the hotel. Breakfast is not very good (you can't blame them, the hotel is very cheap and it offers pretty decent rooms for the price). The biggest problem is the bus that takes you to the city center - it never comes!!! And for coming back, we had to take a cab back to the hotel both nights, the bus just doesn't run the way it should (and the hotel is not close to the center). A bit far from the center. You have to take a bus to get to main attractions. Sharing bathrooms is not my thing but they were always clean. One of the showers in the first floor didn't work well (not much water came out of it and it was hard to take a shower), they need to fix it. They could have a fresher and better breakfast, with better bread (it was a cheap croissant that you buy in the supermarket). Quite bad breakfast, because You have order it from the evening and get it to the room at the time which You said at the evening. In our floor 2 out of 4 toilets did not have toilet papers. Also there is no metro station near by, so reaching the hotel might be a little inconvenient. There is a bus and a tramway to get there, but if you didn't ask the staff before arrival, it was difficult to find. Our room face the road, too noisy in the night. - the breakfast is too limited - the location is bad, there is a garden in front of the hotel with homelesses and the acess is by the bus 105 that is always very crowdy. Location is very far from center of the city. They mention there is air conditioning that comes with the room but it is a fan. We also had to share a bathroom with about 3 other rooms and the shower was disgusting. The breakfast was not so great, and not fresh. The croissants look like they came from a machine distributor and the toast is pre-packaged melba crackers. I would have gone elsewhere had I not reserved for 3 nights. Breadfast was really BAD. Our Room was directly next to the reception (24h open). So it was very very loud. Breakfast (very very simple) was in our room. * The heating system was not working during rainy and cold days in Rome. * The price was prepaid from the credit cards before coming there ana WITH just the card numbers, no more special information was given regarding the card. environment is not "trendy" at all. but the main problem is that we couldnt find any privacy in this "b&b". the rooms have no toilets and are located RIGHT NEXT to the reception, which is open all night long. we barely slept because of the noise outside of the room. not very clean. common bathroom. cappucinno not tasty.
