What people say
Excellent was in a residential location so had real italian food thatwas a short distance and prices were very cheap. Was a 5 minute walkfrom the Cavour metro station and 10 minute walk from the Collosseum. The bus stop was outside our hotel no. 71. The cleaniness of this hotelwas amazing a very high standard. Convenient location to train station (10-12 minute walk) and easy walk to sites! Staff was extremely helpful with a late arrival to our party and dealing with the airport in helping locate lost luggage.all reviews »
I liked that there was Cappucino and juice available all day. I also like the breakfast layed out. very good staff, central location, clean room, nice view from our room. The staff was very helpfull and friendly and room was very clean every afternoon. Super. The location of the hotel made easy to get to the main sightseeing. Central location, short walk to Cavour metro station. Helpful staff.Drink and cake in the afternoon offered, very welcome to a wearytraveller. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms, not large, but welldecorated. The staff was very friendly, rooms very comfortable and nice andbreakfast was also rather reasonable for the price. The location wasexcellent - at the center of town. I liked the location of the hotel in the centre of Rome, near Colosseo. The staff speaks English well, so there were no problems with demonstration.good staff and nice fercilities/environment. a bit far from other sight(at least 10 mins) but the view near there is lovely. Very close to the city centre and main tourist attractions. Small but clean rooms. Good bed. Although breakfast was modest, it had basic things and you could have it in bed. The afternoon cakes were excellent.Very friendly staff, and nice to have tea or coffee available in the afternoon. Good location, very well situated for the ancient Roman sites in particular. Good location, clean, nice fresh continental breakfast and we liked thefact you could eat it in your room. The location was almost perfect, and the staff were very polite and helpfull, the rooms were cleaned daily. The location is fantastic, right beside the colleseum and a short walk to all the sights in Rome.Good location- close to most sites. Room size good. proximity to train station. Very very clean. Very clean, nice little hotel in the heart of the city. Ideal for couples. Ask for room 108, it's bigger than others, and it has bath. Breakfast is not only a croissant and drinks, they have fruits, cold meat and cheese too. Staff are very kind and helpful.Reasonably convenient to (walking distance, about 6 - 8 blocks) to Roma Termini train station. Ample continental breakfast. Very friendly and helpful receptionists, close to Metro. The location is wonderful! Rome is a pretty walkable city, but being soclose to the train station was nice. Someone had commented on this sitethat there were prostitutes on the corner across the street, but Ididn't see anything like that; plus, the police station is near by. Ifelt completely safe there. The rooms were about the size of a large walk-in closet, but are clean and quiet. Very helpful staff. Proximity to all the sights in Rome is good withineasy walking distance to the main attractions.ideal central location, very clean and although small, had everything required for short stay. Complimentary afternoon coffee / tea with cake as well as friendly staff. pleasant, helpful, English speaking staff, quite central location,. the location. location. The room was nice. not too big, not too small. Confortable bed. The bathroom was small, especially the shower, but always very clean. (very similar to the pictures in the site) Quiet area. good location (just 400m to de Cavour_metro; 80m to Via Cavour) Near the coliseum and Roman Forum.Reception desk was very friendly. Everything about the room was clean. Not at all everything was perfect from location to the facilities of thehotel. Room walls are quite thin and the rooms are small but notuncomfortable. I wanted someplace to eat my breakfast besides the room. The size of the shower was not good. My husband is 6'3 and if he dropped the soap he would not have been able to pick it up. No room in shower and barely had any room to move. If you are 5'9 or shorter you will be fine. I am 5'6 and I was fine. Hard to shave legs though.Front of builidng next to busy road but got used to sound so it did notdisturb sleep. Also, windows double glazed to reduce noise. Some noisebetween rooms heard. The outside looks of the hotel wasn't very attractive.Beds were not so comfortable for me, but it depends on the type of bed which you prefer. These were more soft, than hard. It was a bit noisy outside.Room was very small but we only slept in it anyway. The rooms were a little bit small, but like most people you were just using it to sleep and shower then there"s no complaints. While the breakfast spread was ok I found it a bit offputting that the food was just laid out in the narrow hallway and that you had to take it back to your room on plastic plates and in polystirine cups to eat it with plastic cutlery perched on the edge of your bed as there was no seating area in the room. The cleaners start so early! The room next to us was cleaned from 7 or7.30am and it was so loud. No chance of sleeping in!. Building was a little sketchy, but interior living quarters were fine. First night there was some problem with our room, but for that night we got another room at a 3star hotel (with good breakfast but poor shower), so for us that was ok. At BandB the receptionist area was very small and the way to our room not clean. But room and bathroom were clean. TV only italian channels. The only thing that may be an issue would be the small shower. It wouldnot be surprising if some people actually found they could not get intoit. Seriously. The opening is only about 2 feet wide. No exageration. No dining room, breakfast is served in the corridor and you eat in youroom (our room was small and didn't have a table or chairs so we had toeat from a tray on the bed - not a show stopper and the food was ok). rooms very small,. very small room, no fruit in breakfast selection, not enough information about adjacent buses and esp. nearness of metro (Carvour-downhill walk from hotel ), abit too expensive for what it is,. breakfast on the corridor - no much itens. Breakfast. The breakfast is very poor. it consists in a table in the corridor with cookies, a few cakes, bread... with cheese and italian ham, and some fruit. the coffee is taken from a vending machine, so as the juice. You must take the food to the bedroom to eat... it's a very negative point. It should be improved. Walls were very very thin and we could hear everything going onaround us.It is important for women travelling alone or with friends to know that there were working women on a corner directly opposite the hotel. There are cracks and holes in the walls of the reception and hallway areas. There was no air conditioning, and no internet access. The room and bathroom were very very small, and there was very little storage. This hotel is extremely small, the rooms are amazingly small, everything is small. The hotel is located in a "centric" place, but you have to walk a lot from the Metro station. It is also a noisy place and you have to take your breakfast to your room because there is no space on the aisle, yes, the aisle.
