Marco is the most energetic and jovial host. One who goes out of his way to be helpful, giving us Italian words to use and the phone number for emergencies after a minor health scare, with an offer to call a doctor to come to the B&B. The little B&B is so clean you could eat (well almost) off the floors. It was quiet, little exterior noise and no interior noise from fellow guests. Lots of hot water on instant demand. Breakfast was meat, cheese, and rolls, with croissants, sweet buns, ju.
all reviews » Nice kitchen and rooms. The outside is nothing special and the tiny lift up to 5th floor then 2 flights of stairs wasn't very convenient with luggage, but inside was quite pleasant. Nice little view off the kitchen balcony. Marco the owner was very sweet and extremely helpful. He sat us down and immediately got out a map and told us about all of the neighborhoods in Naples. Breakfast was decent and he accomodated all of his guests as they were heading to explore the city. Beds were all quite ni. Excellent location. A little difficult to find but once you get there it's very central to the old town, museum and Spanish quarter. Everything is in walking distance. Breakfast was great. Macro was so lovely and offered advice and assistance above and beyond what was expected. Great view of the city and mt Vesuvius from my bedroom window :) Large room, massive bed, great price. Marco is the best host. We had the best welcome when arriving by chaotic driving into Napoli:) Napolian cookies were served and a lovely introduction on what to do and see. Marco is very friendly and entertaining. Every morning we were greeted with a huge smile. And a wonderful breakfast spread. Made our stay in Napoli one of our favourite stops:). Very big bedroom and bathroom. The showers was 3x bigger than any other hotel we stayed at in Italy. Marco was super. Arranged a taxi for us for 4am the next morning and it showed up right on time!! Left too early for breakfast but got a glimpse of the previous day's breakfast when we checked in & it looked delicious. Central location in the historical part of town, wry close to the Main Street of shops and on the other side the alleyways of souvenir shops and little pizzerias. The Staff are really helpful and the room was lovely; cleaned after 1 night even though we were only staying for 2. Lovely breakfast. Marco was very helpful and accommodating. Spacious room with air con. The pizza is worth the trip! Marco suggested a couple of places and we had the best pizza ever. Naples is the home of pizza after all. Also Naples is great to get to Pompeii and Vesuvius!. This was a real find. It is right across the street from the Archeological Museum and walking distance from everything in the old section of Naples. Marco is a fabulous host. B&B Museum was simply fabulous. We had a brilliant stay at B&B museum. Marco was really helpful and showed us the best parts of the city to visit, which helped us make the most of our one day in Naples. Would definitely stay again. Marco was very helpful and the location was very good and suggested for visiting the "heart of Naples" historic area. Lots to do and see. The room was very comfortable would recommend to others. Marco the owner.The room.Location.In from of the Museum. One flight of steep Stairs. When they say "right across from the metro station" is a bit of exagerration. It is close but not obvious where the place is at all when you hit the street. Beware, nothing is open for food in late afternoon near that place. All of the good restaurants (or really all restaurants) don't start serving until 7:30 pm. I didn't have a problem with it being on the 6th floor but a heads up to families, elderly or people with mobility issues - the lift stops at level 5 so this is not the most accessible location. Don't let a few stairs deter you- I loved it!. The signage outside is very small and easy to miss because of the scaffolding outside. The shower was crusty and dirty. Which made using it a bit icky!. After two weeks of hiking mountains and climbing steps in hillside towns we cringed at the last flight of steps up to the B&B. Not a big deal, but you asked "what didn't you like?" The B&B Museum was an oasis of luxury in a dirty, crowded city. The location is a bit strange and is on the edge of a not so great part of town, and inside a suspicious looking building!! The entrance doesn't look very welcoming but once you get up to the b&b in a tiny 2 man lift to the 6th floor the b&b itself and the rooms and very homely. Naples isn't amazing and the area isn't somewhere you'd necessarily want to walk about at night. The elevator wasn't functioning all the time - there was nothing that Marco could do about this - and the hotel is on the 6th floor. It was fine for me, but I would caution those who do not do stairs well to consider whether they will be able to do this if it goes out again. The traffic and travelling around was one of the scariest city's I have ever stayed in, but what an experience!. Nothing, albeit on 6th floor with working lift !. The stairs is not for people with disabilities I will recomend to Marco to star breakfast at 7:30 isntead of 8:30.
