Proof that you get what you pay for, the staff were very helpful and informative, taking a lot of the strain out of urban travel. Our room in this chic modern hotel was stunning and very quiet. UP is a fairly easy walking distance from the Duomo and a short taxi ride (11 euros) to the Stazione Cordona (and Malpensa Express). A cocktail overlooking the Duomo, is very pricey, but comes with posh snacks, an atmospheric and fun experience. With a bit of planning, this makes for a fabulous city .
all reviews » Very comfortable hotel, perfect per city trip. Very good location, in the center of the city yet in a quiet street, close to everything, convenient to walk around the city. Very good service, staff extremely helpful and friendly. We have missed the plane and arrived the next day and get perfect assistance in re-booking as we wanted, everything went smoothly. Breakfast is also very good, as well as room service and restaurant. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable; I truly felt that they would help with anything I needed. The hotel offered me a very lovely upgrade which, at the end of a long week of business, was VERY much appreciated! The room itself had every comfort as well as a fabulous view, and the location of the hotel was central to anything I might want to do, as well as convenient to the airport. Room overlooked the Duomo on 9th floor. Décor was beautiful. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel had complimentary bottle of champagne on ice for us when we arrived - very nice!!! Hotel was within walking distance of Milan city for shopping and sightseeing. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and efficient - front desk, restaurant,and housekeeping. Room was very clean and nicely furnished - everything looked quite new. Bed was cosy but a little bit short. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of different cakes. The hotel is within walking-distance to the dome and you can use the parking garage "Il Parcheggio del Centro" (3-min. Walk) at a special rate (18€/day). It has a great location, close to the central sightseeings as well as to the main "party" road - porto ticinese. Personnell was very helpful; hotel is rather stylish, a number of bath belongings makes a woman feel really happy :) , the room is of suitable size, everything is close to you but it's not tight. I stayed in this hotel for a weekend from July 26 until July 28. It has a very convenient location, 10 min walk away from the Doumo and the shopping area. The hotel features modern design and excellent amenities. Breakfast was very tasty and many choices were available. Overall, it was a great experience. Staff is good. I booked a superior king room which was suppose to be large enough to have an extra childs bed. However, the room was very small - disappointing. otherwise a nice place to stay. No free internet in the room (it coasts 9 Eur. per day.) Wifi is free in the lobby only (you must take a code from the reception to connect.) Breakfast doesn't have many varieties. It would be great if the 30 minute wi-fi access was available in your room and the time should be extended to an hour. Also the restaurant menu was very limited, so a better choice of meals would be good. The breakfast should be international breakfast that any nationalaty can like it I dont like there breakfast at allllllllllll & I go only one day & I lose all other day because I dont like it. Nothing. Small room, slow wi-fi. A vague scent of smoke, probably through the ventilation system. The air condiotion temperature was a little bit to cold for us, but during the night it was ok. Probably this was easy to resolve but obviusly it isn't much problem.. Wifi is €9.00 per device per 24hrs. It states free wifi in the lobby. You get 30mins per 24hrs. Even though we were in an upgraded room,there was little space all around the bed. It was good to have teas and coffee in the room, but very poor to have only cheap plastic cups, not real crockery. Only thing was the room air conditionning that did not work well and the oom was so hot that I had to sleep with the window open. Free Wifi in the lobby but No free wifi in the room. Local tax to be paid in extra. For that price level this is a mistake. the location was away from the sites. Room was surprisingly smaller than expected. No free wifi internet in the rooms. the internet was difficult and frustrating to use. The restaurant and bar were very expensive. Parking off site. internet was not included. The lack of a swimming pool and spa. The air-condition was very cold, always get to phone to turn on the heat!. Can't think of anyting. Room was quite small and was originally set up for a single occupancy not double. The free internet provided in the Lobby area should not be limited to 30 minutes per log-in. Also they should have free internet in the breakfast room etc. Internet extra cost.
