Staff was very helpful and professional. i like in over all this hotel and beautiful building and also it is near all services,. The restaurant and it's staff were lovely.Good Location. Comfortable spacious rooms. Huge room, good facilities, great restaurant. all reviews » very nice hotel and wonderful situation. Friendly staff, good location, nice size room. I just used it for relax and meeting. * Very spacious room for 2 adults + child (12 year). Quietness, cleanliness. nice room and confortable bed. the bed is very comfortable and the hotel builday is very grand. Checking out. bathroom did not have heating. there wasnt much sound proof in the room. can hear closing of doors early in the morning. the room is clean but furniture is a bit old.Could also have been a 4 star hotel. No mention was made that there is extreme noise from the tram. The costfor internet useage and bottled water was ridiculous and the mostannoyingly memorable thing from the entire stay....just stupid. Minorrepairs would have made the room look cleaner and better maintained.* Room at front of hotel was very noisy - asphalt works ongoing at street just in front of the hotel (not informed by the hotel at the check-in) till 02.00. Second night and due to the location at the central station square : lot of noise from motorcycles,etc.... * room cleaning and personnel friendliness : could be much better * buffet breakfast on sunday : kitchen could not follow ->empty plates. Need to upgrade your TV. Drinks were outragesly expensive and so too was the breakfast. if you want people to eat at the hotel you need to reduce the price of breakfast.Breakfast not included in price. price of breakfast (35 euros) and extra (8 euros a mineral water from mini bar), welcome desk , breakfast very disappointing. This hotel might have been a 5 star hotel 20 years ago but now it is not. The furniture is old and broken, the hotel is noisy (Trams around the clock) and entrance door was rotating the standards doors were closed. the location near the train station where you can find a lot of pick pockets, the room has no view and the lighting in the room is poor, bathroom factcility is out dated, service at reception was bad. staff communication poor, hotel was half empty- got a room to the fire escape-no windows! prices tragic- room service food was terrible! shame on meridien to keep such a hotel! the worst experience ever!!!! will never return!!!! they r just playing on the meridien name to attract customers!! staff- terrible!.
