The Hotel run by the family Beretta, has been renovated in 2001. It is situated in the old historic centre of Menaggio, 10 meters from the lake in the central square Garibaldi. The 10 rooms, elegantly furnished, are equipped with satellite-TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe and air-conditioning. Some rooms also have a whirlpool and a balcony. The Hotel has a lift and from the Caffè Centrale there is a wonderful view of the lake. 100 metres from the Hotel are our parking garages. In the Hotel Du Lac, find an informal and familiar atmosphere that won't interfere with impeccable service.

We were at 5 Locations in Italy. This was the best room at the best price. The hotel was perfect It really did have a lake view>. It was charming, center of town, lakeside and about the only one open in the region as it was way off season. The people were very friendly and helpful and did not mock our lack of Italian language skills in the least. The location was excellent. This is a quaint hotel on a abeautiful lake.all reviews »
Trips on the lake to other resorts, enjoyed pleasant atmosphere of the cafe bar. the Nice Cafeteria on the ground floor. the location. That we had not the time to stay longer. That the toilet is outside the own room, locatet next door.Our room was right above the caffé and it was quite noisy as the insulation in the ceiling/floor is inadequate. Luckily this was not a problem as we were up quite early and the caffé closed not to late in the evening. The hotel continental breakfast was a bit spartan. This could be improved with the addition of a more traditional Italian continental breakfast.No. They ask extra money for car parking. No room with view+balcony to the sunny side.
