We really liked our stay in B&B Macalle. Everything was very clean, the towels smelled really nice and our room and bathroom were very spacious. Every morning Mario made us a great cappuchino. The city is at walking distance. And Mario gave us a great suggestion for a fish restaurant for dinner. We recommend this place to everyone!. Tremendously friendly welcome from Veronica and Mario. Their b&b is in a lovey old building and is fresh, spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the delicious chocolate or lemon cake at breakfast. Some excellent value for money restaurants just around the corner too.

It's really good value for money, I even had a friend come and stay with me while I was here and we were not charged extra for him. Good location, big rooms with balconies, very clean and comfortable. Friendly reception, taking their time to explain all the information needed. Clean and beautifully furnished rooms. We have chosen to park the car in the garage and the costs are €13. everything,very nice people,big design rooms,we forget swimming dress at the room and they sent it back to us without question,very good breakfast,if we will be in Catania again we will came there again. Everything was good but be aware it is a 10 minute walk up hill to the location which was fine for us but some might want to consider a taxi perhaps. nothing. everything was great!. The breakfast would benefit from some fresh fruit. We thought the walk to the B & B was a little hard work as it was uphill. Breakfast was a little basic maybe but no complaints. I dont think 45€ for a B&B in a mid sized city like Catania its a bargain, but at the time was the best I could get. Road next to the hotel iż quite busy and noisy. It may be a little bit annoying at night. It's not that bad though. That I didnt discover this B&B sooner and that I only booked the excellent shuttle they offer only on the last day ( my suggestion: get it also when you arrive! ). Road noise. This part of Catania is a little bit scary - dark in the streets.. - bathroom detached from the room - no real privacy - fridge does not operate well.
