  Very welcoming, friendly staff with full restaurant and bar on site. Twin room was perfectly adequate and very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities a big bonus. We were up early for the winter solstice and were delighted with the opportunity to grab a cup of tea in the morning without delaying. A great spot. Food in pub and dining room was delicious, served hot, quickly, good choice. Ambiance in pub was cheerful. Good off street parking. Location is very scenic and close to historical sights.

The lodge itself was lovely and very homely. - Just half an hour from Dublin airport, this hotel is only 3 minutes walk from Newgrange, one of Ireland's first attractions.
