Staff were very accomodating,as two young people most hotels assume we will be noisey,they did their very best to treat us equally and were very polite and proffesional at all times,there was a bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived they did not have our booking on the computer but the gent at the reception was most helpful and fixed us a room immedietly even giving us the best room in the hotel for the same price it was relaxed and we felt very welcome i would definatley stay here ag

The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks. The room was lovely and had a nice bathroom with a good shower - fabulous breakfast, very good quality food.ease of access to the car park, no messing with tickets, validation, charges etc.

Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a mixture of a small buffet as well as a la carte meals and was excellent. Staff were very friendly and provided some excellent restaurant recommndations. Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Tea and coffee is available all day. And the breakfast is something else. There is secure car parking. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre, the RDS, the O2 and the Bord Gais Theatre. The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.

We were first time in Dublin and really loved this hotel! Easy to find (bus 14,15a,b,c, 83 etc stops near) and it's overall really cosy hotel! Just 20-30min walk from downtown, really nice pubs and food places alongside road! We stayed there 3 nights.
Staff was friendly and helpful and Irish Breakfeast (eggs, bacon, toast etc) was served to tables

Uppercross House Hotel was perfect, although i stayed only one night. They will provide you with everything you might expect from a hotel of this price (and even more): Friendly staff, 24h reception, very tasty breakfast included with plenty of choices to go with, daily newspaper, room was very comfortable, lots of space in the bathroom, taxi station just across the street, not noisy at all. Took me about 15-20 minutes walking to the center of Dublin. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
