  This is the second time I've stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel and will definitely be returning. Stayed with a friend of mine just for a night away to catch up and do some shopping etc. location is absolutely perfect, a short stroll to Grafton Street, and surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. We were given a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking the Green...we had only boo - Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel.   Although not in the center of Dublin it was a short and inexpensive cab ride away from O'Connell street and had frequent city buses you could also ride into town. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the facilities were extremely nice, it was a great value for the price - It was alittle way out of the city so nice and quiet and excellent bu... what people say » s service to the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well serviced. The breakfast choice was excellent and the staff were very attentive.
