  Excellent! friendly attentive staff room was perfect and clean fresh towels daily!They reall work hard to please Tea and cake on arrival a relly nice touch! - We're upgraded from a double room to a very lovely room with sittting area with Big Flat Screen TV and DVD with surround stereo system and a nice kitchen.

  We had a clean, spacious and comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast is good, hot food, coffee and juice. The location is not too far from town - it takes about 20 minutes to walk or you can jump on the bus that stops out the front and runs up the main street of Cork. A taxi from the bus station/city will cost less than 10 euro. The owner ... what people say » is friendly and helpful. This is a good choice considering how expensive some of the places right in town are. We really liked Cork and definitely got - Almost everything! The location is perfect, the owners are decent, lovely, kind and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better host. The value for our money in the room we got was excellent. The breakfast is everything we wanted plus it's served with a smile from the owners. How can you not have an enjoyable stay in such a place not too mention they got free WiFi. I will recommend the place to our friends anytime. Will go back there if we get a chance.

  Lovely old manor house with a very large parking area out front. Were greeted right away by the Lodge's owner who helped us with our luggage. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean overlooking their garden area. Were given really good directions, and a book with hints on what to see in Cork...even given a lift in cause he had an errand to run... what people say » . Breakfasts were amazing. Beautiful place!!!! - friendliness of staff - good breakfast - spacious rooms with very good soundproofing, did not hear traffic despite being close to major roads
