Exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful international staff, comfortable room, decent amenities (good shower, clean sheets/towels, fairly good cafe/bar). The front desk staff in particular was extraordinarily helpful and more than willing to go out of their way to help a guest. The hotel staff were wonderful,helpful and courtious at all times.....The room was spotless,warm and the beds were very comfortable.....bathroom was very good,modern and plenty of hot water....and the rates were real value for money.....Thanks for a most enjoyable stay.....

It is very handy that there was a tram station (Red Cow) going to central Dublin just 5 mins walk away from Ibis.value for money, and practical guarantee of parking space, and consistent good shower. The construction going on near the hotel made access to the Luas (tram) station a bit tricky; walking up/down several ramps/flights of stairs and across a footbridge is no problem when you're young and have very little luggage, but for travelers with heavy bags or older travelers, access to the hotel might be a problem, and for those who like being in the heart of a city, it's a bit far from the center of Dublin. first impressions of the rooms are not very good because of the lack of decor,hotel is actually situated on a building site because of the work going on the redcow roundabout and can be hard to find because it is not signposted properly. Too far from airport. because of major motorway works it was very hard to get access to the hotel and it was not very well signposted - However this should be sorted soon I have been told. hard to get to due to construction. Ibis hotel are all the same and sometimes, small hotels in Ireland have more charm... Hotel was remote. but I was aware before I booked. Dont bother using the tram as it stop's to much. Just get a taxi its worth the extra money.While understanding the difficulty faced with no chef available, wedo wish the food available was to a higher standard on the evening ofthe 31.12.08. The hotel might want to list what other items to look at on the sign when turning at the round about because it was not easy to get to the hotel because of the construction and not seeing the small IBIS sign but was able to see the Ford and some other sign but did not know they were next to the IBIS.The breakfast was slightly overpriced at £9.99 authough it was all you can eat, I went somewhere else and it was only £4.99. As well as this it was a bit out of way and when you get to it by the the tram it was a long walk over bridges and through road works. But the hotel was great and a lot better than i expected. You should either replace or clean the sign "Reception Desk". It's the first thing customers see as they come in, and it's quite old and dirty. It gives you a wrong impression of this nice and clean hotel.Very hard to find the way and get to the hotel from the tram station due to construction. If you have luggages, not recommended. the noise u can easily hear through the walls. no free WiFi. Only thing was alot of building work around the area but presume tis would be temporary.Breakfast was good but rest of food overpriced for what it was. There was no hot water to shower in the morning - This was not good!. It can be nosiey and expensive for such a basic room. The lack of a music channel on TV.Not the Hotel's fault, but access to the hotel is really strange due to all the construction in the area. Follow signs to Monestary Road. Access to the Tram was also diverted due to the construction. Carpets a bit shabby in room and general musty like feeling in room. Poor television channels and reception in room tv..Carpets in room needed cleaning. ow hard the floors were and how the beds were'nt that comfortable. if you have small children I would recomend another hotel by the city center. It is about 20-30 min ride on bus to the city center and the hotel is not easily by resturants. The hotel does have a main dinning area on main floor. For breakfast and dinner.no propper bar. Restaurant prices were high. Location is a bit remote, and there is much construction going on around the hotel, making access a little difficult. construction works nearby, beds need to be replaced. It was extremely difficult to get to the hotel! There were roadworks and the signs to the hotel were too small to see and on top of that they were pointing to sliproads that were blocked by the works. I had to drive up and down the motorways for about half an hour in order to try all the posible exits and finally get to the hotel. sparse furnishings (but really did not mind that for the purpoae of my visit). Double room should have had more than 2 towels. all in all, suitable for a quick stop and bed to sleep in. would be nice to be able to get snacks at night since it is not easy to access shops etc.
