This is a very nice, old and atmospheric hotel. Almost like walking in a museum, we liked it a lot. The breakfast is the best we ever had in a Indonesian hotel, with lots of Western and Asian food, including a "jamu" woman for traditional medicine.
Rooms are not as modern as in a new hotel, but they are kept clean and beds are comfortable.
Location it is about 1 km from railway station. Cheap Airport bus stops next door. There is a minimart nearby.

We came to the pesona artha guest house to find a budget friendly place
to sleep near the jalan malioboro but we found something much better.
The staff is extreamly helpful and friendly and the location is perfect.

Amazing staff. We got there very early hoping we could store our luggage and go sightseeing although we were exhausted, and they got us an early check in room even without request. Hotel has simple and uplifting design, facilities are great and there is a wonderful roof top pool with great view. Breakfast is buffet style with a lots of choice and pretty tasty. They have a travel agency with whom we booked a trip to Borobudur with great service and fair price.

We stayed here our last night in Yogyakarta because it was close to the airport and had courtesy transfers to the airport. It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very good. -
