Location is great if you want to visit Prambanan and Borobudur.
Food in the restaurant was good and very cheap too. Only expensive thing is the wine! 90 euros for a simple bottle of Australian wine.... -

This is a very nice, old and atmospheric hotel. Almost like walking in a museum, we liked it a lot. The breakfast is the best we ever had in a Indonesian hotel, with lots of Western and Asian food, including a "jamu" woman for traditional medicine.
Rooms are not as modern as in a new hotel, but they are kept clean and beds are comfortable.
Location it is about 1 km from railway station. Cheap Airport bus stops next door. There is a minimart nearby.
Highly recommended!

My luxuriously outfitted room had a superbly comfortable bed that I didn't want to get out off and a lovely modern decor. The bathroom was huge, clean and very nice.

The friendliness of the front door staff - very welcoming. The restaurant/coffee house staff were exceedingly accommodative to our requests. The interior decor through out the hotel are pleasing to the eyes with warm colours. The breakfast is excellent - we thought it was one of the best hotel breakfast that we've had. The nice smell as you enter the hotel.

Verrassend dat alles bij de prijs is inbegrepen. Ontbijt, lunch en diner en een auto met chauffeur. Onze was is gewassen en gestreken. Alle drankjes zijn ook gratis. Dichtbij centrum en vliegveld. Hotel Tentrem is a luxury hotel in the centre of Jogja. The rooms are very well-furnished (esp. the large beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding sumptuous). Facilities are top-class and the staff is very friendly and willing to help (excellent Concierge service which can arrange trips such as Sunrise tour of Borobudur or book tickets for the Ramayana ballet).

The Sheraton is a visually beautiful hotel - if you don't look
close. The design, layout, gardens and views are all perfect. My room
had a view of the gardens, pools and Mt. Merapi. The staff went out of
the way to make sure I was having a good time. The rooms are large and
airy but very worn down. Things didn't work from arrival to my
departure.

Although the room was facing the road, but we were confortable, not disturbed by the noise. The room was also facing sun rise, we felt the warmth of the sun, for a while, of course. We liked the food served. - Very friendly and helpful especially the restaurant staff and room cleaning person
