  Our stay here was fantastic and better than I was expecting and read about. We did not have anything we were no happy with, great location with a short walk from front entrance to beach unlike many others we have stayed in which meant walk from villa to beach was nothing if you forgot something or needed to return. The villas were spacious ( delux... what people say » e) and clean and fun with the quirky bathroom etc. Mozzie net a great bonus as yes mozzies were a bit of a problem at night as is anywhere. Nice size - I loved staying at La Taverna! If you want a relaxing holiday, away from the noise and pollution, then this is the place. The staff are attentive in a low-key sort of way; the food is delicious; the pool is small, but never crowded; the location is ideal - right on the beach; the gardens are immaculately tended. The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished and are comfortable, spacious and air conditioned. La Taverna is a real oasis.

  I loved the way the staff got to know us and took such great care of us . The villas are just beautiful with such attention to detail . They are clean and spacious with stunning pools . It was my 50th birthday and the staff made a fuss of me .   From the moment we felt warmly welcomed by the delightful man with one of the sunniest smiles I have ever seen! Staff at the desk were helpful, professional & welcoming as were the staff in the dining area with a welcoming drink.This was by the way absolutely delicious! The room was comfortable & had we not been at - fantastic location right on the main road of Sanur and central. Large staff maintain this 15 yr old lady very well. oh and clean toilets and the cleanest kitchen in Sanur. Will return and recommend, best value for money that we have found so far in Sanur.

The location to great - The location was fantastic. Only 5 minute walk from Hardys and only 5 minute walk in other direction to Sindhu beach happenings. The breakfast was great and the beachside restaurant setting was gorgeous. The restaurant's dinner menu was great too - I don't eat meat and they had some tasty vegetarian options and staff were delightful. 2 swimming pools! Yes 2. They looked great (I didn't use them) but did see other enjoying them.

This is a quiet place in a small lane but not far from the main street. All sta - The staff is very nice and easygoing. The rooms are spacious and have a balinese-style patio. Bed has a useful mosquito net. It is not located on the main road of Sanur but it is a plus as the hotel is very quite in the evenings. Breakfast included with very good banana pancakes or eggs and juice/tea. Nice swimming pool but almost always in the shadow as there are many trees that cover the sun. Safe not in the room but in the lobby.

There were lots of people trying to sell you things and taxi drives beeping to arrange massages with "bang- bang". Once you said "no" they didn't hassle you any further, though.

  The facilities and apartments are great for a family holiday. The two pools are located on the sides of one of the buildings and there is always one that provides shade (or sun!).
