My husband and I were there for 11 days with my 2 daughters, their husbands and babies. I like that it is a small establishment with cottages and rooms. Rooms are spacious with a small fridge. Small but adequate and pleasant pool where we spent a lot of family time. Restaurant next to the pool has a new owner who is extremely helpful and eager to improve the restaurant. He bought and BBQ'd seafood especially for us. This is a quiet place in a small lane but not far from the main street. All sta.
all reviews » The staff is very nice and easygoing. The rooms are spacious and have a balinese-style patio. Bed has a useful mosquito net. It is not located on the main road of Sanur but it is a plus as the hotel is very quite in the evenings. Breakfast included with very good banana pancakes or eggs and juice/tea. Nice swimming pool but almost always in the shadow as there are many trees that cover the sun. Safe not in the room but in the lobby. Staff, location off the main street but close enough and the two rooms that we had 1a and 1b had a kitchen and common area that was fantastic for the family to have some quiet time away from everything. Having been on the road for 7 months, they boys really wanted hot dogs and noodles and it was great to be able to offer it to them. Prima Cottages is ideally located. it is only a block from the shops and restaurants of Jl Danau Tamblingen, but is quiet and pleasant and not too big. Each cottage is placed so that your little garden area is your own. the pool was always clean, and poolside had a choice of shade or sun. Our second stay at Prima Cottages...excellent location close to restaurants and shops, leisurely bike ride to Hardy's and the beach. Very reasonable tariff includes a (basic) breakfast...friendly and accommodating staff, nice pool and landscaped gardens. Excellent value for money. I booked the room for my parents and my brother. The hotel responded really quick on enquiries about bed. My parents and my brother really enjoyed the stay. It took less 10-minute walk from the main street, the front desk is really helpful on providing tips, the pool is nice. The owner and staff were all very helpful and attentive. Anything I needed was done immediately. My room was cleaned daily. Service in the restaurant was fairly quick. I would stay here again. I met other travelers who had stayed here many times over the years. We booked a fan room. Tt was simple and comfortable but very hot! Big sized rooms and clean sheets. The pool was amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the tourist information desk/reception and kitchen/bar staff. The staff were friendly, the grounds and the pool was well looked after.Breakfast was lovely as was the eating area overlooking the pool.My boys really enjoyed the pool table which made it a friendly,social area. Great atmosphere, very good location and unpretentious, Balinese style (amazing doors!). Children love the animals: civets (these from kopi luwak) and parrots. For 1 night we chose standard room and was surprised, that it was actually as comfortable as a cottage. Nice swimming pool. Close to the food market. The pool was awesome! Bathrooms are a bit old and some need renovating but adequate considering the price. Some of the beds are not comfortable. everything was fine. Breakfast was good (pancakes) but we stayed 5 nights in all but the boys were hoping for croissants (1st choice) and baguettes (2nd choice) that were on the menu but they did not have available any morning. Also water with breakfast would have been nice as the boys had the choice of coffee, tea or lime juice. We enjoyed a couple of meals at the restaurant but they once again, did not have the bread product for the sandwiches. None :). There is on going construction on both sides of the hotel, so it is noisy all day long. If you're not staying in your room the whole time, it won't bother you. Also, the free breakfast is not enough to satisfy an adult's hunger. No AC (our own fault for booking the wrong one). Room was quite dark and smelled quite musty but it wasn't really a problem. Room was opposite to reception, so it was little noisy time to time. everything OK. The shower toilet had a really strong funny smell which was nice and our room was in the reception area which wasnt very private. Other than that great value. Aroud 30 meters away they are bilding in the nighborhood a new house. From this you can hear sometime e lot of noise. But is not the faut of the Hotel and is staff. nothing. Breakfast is a bit poor, only one egg or pancake. Included breakfast too basic. ?pool a bit too close to food service area. The beach is a little walk from the hotel,but we were diving outside Sanur, so we didn't actually use the beach in town. Kitchen menu with "The 7 slices sausage" says like it something huge - in reality it's like 1/3 of real sausage ))) But you receive what you pay for. Smell in the bathroom. breakfast very poor. The internet was very slow. there is no fan and the toilet very difficult to flush can be improved. the room had nowhere else to sit but the bed. Some of the male staff were hanging outside our room, I didn't think this was appropriate. And for this reason probably wouldn't stay there again. - bathroom (smell bad). No baby cot available. Did not get any welcome drinks, the service people are bit of dull. Breakfast is really plain, the room is not fresh clean, but bearable. room was opposite reception desk. bathroom is a bit out dated. no air conditioning.
