Excellent service, very friendly staff eager to help and provide everything that's needed - often went out of their way to cater to any requests. Car is readily available 24/7 for travel and is in good condition. Wifi access throughout the hotel, and good breakfast options. Great rooftop infinity pool, very functional gym with better than average machines. Rooms were very large and comfortable with excellent balconies

The staff was superb. With a bit of notice they produced special local dishes, and they prepared breakfast early to accommodate an early departure. There are no glitzy attractions but the town has a haunting beauty, and the mansions are stunning. Try to see the video about the Chettinadu Mansion at the start of a visit.
