We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and the hotel couldn't do enough for us. It was the most romantic experience and we wished we could have stayed longer. It is within walking distance of all main attractions and place to go shopping. Actually, Udaipur is a nice place to buy souvenirs and handcrafts from Rajasthan. Really good and attentive staff. Management and staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Arrived very early after an overnight rail journey from Delhi and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Rooms were made available to us even though it was only just after eight in the morning. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Made some good suggestions for places to see and visit and arranged for a car and driver to stay

  The location was exceptional with views of lake and the palace from our bedroom and the rooftop restaurant. We were close to many of the attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is expensive, but worth the amazing view.They left the lights on for us and we were able to talk by the seaside all night with our tea. We have been all over India, and we highly recommend Jagat Niwas Palace.
