The staff were absolutely brilliant and had a "can do" attitude. They all genuinely cared that your stay was as you wished it to be. Spa is lovely. As the clientele is predominantly businessmen the upside was that the pool was always quiet.

The staff was superb. With a bit of notice they produced special local dishes, and they prepared breakfast early to accommodate an early departure. There are no glitzy attractions but the town has a haunting beauty, and the mansions are stunning. Try to see the video about the Chettinadu Mansion at the start of a visit.
