  I love the uniqueness of the hotel - it didn't feel like a cookie-cutter or formulaic version of a luxury hotel, like so many hotels that belong to chains.   Excellent hotel inside, outside is not good but then nowhere outside in Delhi is very good. Don't be put off by the outside appearence of the hotel--when you go inside it's a transformation. All the hotel food was 'safe'. All the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Good bar with very very friendly staff. The music in - Business room was a good size (HUGE bed!) and with fridge & safe in the room. Breakfast was a good mix of Western & local dishes. Freshly made omelettes were delicious. Staff friendly, efficient & helpful. Security on the door was a positive. Location was good too - close to Connaught Place & good for getting our bearings in New Delhi. It's also not too far from Old Delhi. It's also close to a key metro station.

We stayed there but on second thought we don't have to because the advantage of main bazza is that it's close to new delhi railway station, while we arrive delhi in the old delhi station and we leave delhi by plane.   The staff really looked after me. They could see I was tired and immediately upgraded me to a suite that was extremely comfortable and quiet. Very chic and luxurious furniture, I really enjoyed staying in the suite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great coffee with breakfast. Would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to my next stay at the Aj - The first room I got was already a little better as I expected it to be, very good value for money, nice and clean. Without even asking for it, 5 minutes after checking into the room, it knocked on the door and I was asked if I'd like to look at another room facing the backyard, with less street noise from the festival going on outside. That room was even nicer and I gladly took the offer to switch.
