  The Capital-Inn provides good, low-budget accommodation in Reykjavik. The hotel is not in city center and you need to take a bus or a cab to go there. On the other hand, the location is excellent if you have a car and the hotel provides free parking. We stayed two times in a triple room. It was spacious, clean and warm. Unfortunately, our room fac... what people say » ed the highway, even though I asked for a room which faces the yard. On the other hand we didn't have much trouble with noise from the highway – we we - We checked in really late which was not a problem. we we dead tired and found the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel. The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. Will definitely stay here again!

  I liked the food served (and nearby restaurants), the ready drinks service, the wooden guys sitting around the lobby, the room we were given (ground floor, with one of our party weak on walking), the willingness to call a taxi when asked, the neat design of the room, esp. bathroom.
