  A brunette girl, who met me at the evening of arrival, was very friendly with me and superhelpful. She gave me all the necessary pieces of advice about my stay in Budapest, recommended me fantastic area to hang out, mentioned the bus numbers going to the train stations, even checked the availability of the international train ticket. Even with my approx. 190cm hei - The hostel administrator was very friendly, all in all the atmosphere was nice and easy-going. If the shower is occupied use the big bathroom! The hostel is right near the subway so it is easy to reach all the parts of the city and especially the airport. The room I slept in was quite big so it didn't lack fresh air

  One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Beautiful, safe and central location but what really made it was the fantastic, friendly and informative staff. I was given excellent and informed advice on anything I asked from literature recommendations to caving to the opera. Everyone I encountered during my stay was professional, helpful and made m... what people say » e feel most welcome. It was an absolute delight staying with Maverick. Thank you very much. - The staff were all extremely friendly and were happy to answer any questions we had onthings to do or how to get places. They even had a shot night in the hostel where we could try some homemade palinka! The location was very good, being a few blocks away from most of the main tourist areas and very close to the river.

  Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). Rooms are very warm, and since I'm used to lower temperatures I had to open windows a few times to get some cool air in... Perfect - -Excellent location. -Clean, big, and new room. -The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean. -Big windows in the room. -Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up! -We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free.   I have participated at the Budapest Nike Half Marathon and I choose this hostel because is across the Start/Finishing line. The hostel is very well situated for sports, museums, Zoo and because it is very close from Petoffi Hall where often take place rock concerts.
