More than what we expected for this price. -
We booked a two person room without a shower and got three bed room with a bathroom, WC and a kitchenette!
This is basically a campus dormitory turned into hostel for the summer - which is good, people who live there care for their rooms, nothing is broken. I liked the staff, especially the cynical girl who received us at night. In general, we had a very nice experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

Excellent location! on Vaci Utca, near almost everything intresesting in the city! The staff member who received us first day was just so nice and helpful. She made our stay comfortavle and we really enjoyed our one week holiday over there! I strongly recommend it for my next visit and to others as well.
